Oh no, my favorite all-time Celtic died, DJ!

Well that just stinks! I used to watch him play back in the day w/ my lovely Daddy, the infamous Billy Martin, in the living room of 123 Parker Ave. in good old Liverpool, NY, when the Celtics were actually good and had a bunch of great players. Long live red hair and freckles!

Stop feeding the monkeys!

Well it's the Friday before a long weekend. As usual, I don't feel I got enough work done this week, though I did accomplish some things, I feel like I've created a zillion more. I have an abstract due in a month, and though others have said I have plenty to write up for now, I'm not so sure because I'm not sure yet what my angle is. Anyway, we (me and my roommates and Cleo and Billy) are taking a road trip to Buffalo to visit rr and my old stomping grounds at 916 delaware ave. apts. and the UB campus and the old hangouts. We're leaving tomorrow and coming back Sunday night so it's just a quick trip. Even though Monday is a holiday I should still have time to come in to work and do some things. Tonite I'm going out w/ Mark for drinks. We haven't gotten together since xmas time so we're due.

Other than that, with the awful ice covering all the sidewalks around here I haven't gotten outside to run as I hoped this week. I just rode the trainer once this week. Oops!

I guess rr got the server back up today

I haven't been writing in awhile. I don't have much to say. I'm just sitting here at work taking the time to eat some lunch. I got out of the habit of eating anything all day until I got home and then pigged out on whatever so I'm trying to change back to my old ways.

I get these emails pretty often about primates in the news and here's a link I just looked at.

Otherwise, nothing exciting. Been on a couple dud dates in the past month, my neck has acted up once again and too make life even better, my bedroom needs to be cleaned and I haven't been exercising. I just started exercising again last night so we'll see how long I can keep it up. I had an MRI on my neck and it's not pretty. The herniation and stenosis on the right side C5-C6 is severe, though on the left C4-C5 is mild. They also caught a sighting of my markedly enlarged lateral ventricles that they recommended I have another MRI for to make sure they aren't getting bigger. I have declined for now.
