This day in history: January 21, 2005

Three years ago today I met Anne in person, a girl I met online that was interested in going to vet school. She ended up getting an interview at KSU and drove in a mobile home w/ her parents from Chicago. She ended up going to vet school, just not at KSU.

Here we are in the mobile home.

Weekend Recap: The weekend of the risky juice

i started out annoyed on friday because making plans for the weekend was turning into a big headache. i went running after work at the gym to relax (since i have to take a class at MIT this semester i get the gym for free.) so friday night the plan ended up being out w/ rj: first drinks at king’s while we waited forever for bowling but i also got to play pinball which i absolutely love and used to play on a daily basis. i had a great first ball on the second game w/ multiball and i was already close to a free game but then when rj went for his first ball the game fucked up and we lost our game but it was our turn to go bowl anyway. i don’t have the best luck bowling at king’s but i did okay. rj beat me the first game by one point, it was like 100-99 and then the second game i beat him by 2 points so overall i won. yay for me! then it was to the estate for king britt. we had trouble getting in, the door guy and rj had a thing but eventually we got in but it was already like 1am so we weren’t there for long. there weren’t many people there, we didn’t end up dancing, just upstairs hanging on each other in a booth. i went home w/ him and we watched some movie, crap i can’t remember the name, then it was really really late and we had lots of sex. so i’d have to rate the night very high because i did so many of my favorite things all in one night. how often does that happen?

went home on saturday to relax. didn’t do too much. watched ‘the dead girl’ and ‘stomp the yard.’ i give them both 4 out of 5 stars. ‘the dead girl’ was very depressing and sad and ‘stomp the yard’ had good music, dancing and chris brown though why the hell did you have to kill him off in the first 10 minutes, boo! i was supposed to go to bed early because tara and i were doing the frostbite 15k the next morning but i don’t think i went to bed until 1am.

got up sunday and did the race w/ tara. went home to get warm, clean and chill. rj came over for a bit on sunday and we watched football and played this game blokus. he left to go meet a friend and i finished watching football. unfortunately i forgot about the season finale of the amazing race and missed it. i’m glad the nice hippies won though. i had just gotten ready for bed when rj called if i wanted to come over w/ cleo. i wasn’t sure if she would do okay being in a strange place but we decided to go and she was real good. she was freaked out a little i think but she didn’t howl at all which was great. didn’t get back to boston until around dinner time monday and then ate w/ rj at the purple shamrock. that ended my long weekend of rj.

last night i thought i’d sleep great but i didn’t fall asleep until about 1 and then woke up about 4 for a little bit but luckily i fell back asleep. maybe tonight i’ll do better. i’m going to a friend’s gym tonight for a spinning class and to run and then maybe meeting joslynn at the beacon hill pub so not sure what time i’ll get to bed tonight.

my latest revelation, i have a new appreciation for the penis. i’d say about 10 years ago i found myself not so thrilled w/ it and having to find other things to think about while in sexual situations. it wasn’t so much that i wasn’t into guys anymore, just the penis wasn’t doing much for me. maybe it was the result of a deteriorating relationship that at one time involved great sex and ended w/ me withholding it for very long periods of time. well, after that ended i never really reclaimed my passion for the penis. i think part of it was that my first couple relationships were really intense, long-term, serious ones w/ plenty of great chemistry and sex and the next couple were long-term and serious but not so intense for me. i kinda just went along w/ things but wasn’t really into it and realized i had gotten lucky w/ the previous relationships and i couldn’t assume all my sex would be on the same level. now i’m happy to say i like the penis again. how long will it last?
