So I went to the Apple Store to buy a replacement sensor for my Nike + because once the battery dies on the sensor you can't just replace the battery you have to buy a new sensor. The initial investment is $29 for the foot sensor and the iPod adapter so the replacement sensor you can get for $19. First I looked online to get all this info and then since I see they sell it at the Apple Store online I thought I could just go to the store and buy it. So I go there and right when I walk in this guy pounces on me asking if I need help. Normally I would say no and keep my distance from these unhelpful people but I thought I would be nice and social so I said yes and told him what I needed. He took me to the display w/ a million Nike + kits but I don't see just the sensor so I explain I just need the sensor and he says he doesn't think they sell it. But I said I saw it online and he took me to a computer to Google search it, wow!, how amazing, I already did that retard. Then he clicks on the link for the Nike store and he just thinks I have to get it from Nike but I tell him that I saw it at the Apple Store online so after several more clicks of other crap he finally goes to the Apple Store online and finds what I'm talking about. Then he has to radio the back to see if they have it but the radio is crap and he can't hear what they're saying but eventually finds out they don't have it so I have to buy it online. Wasted trip.
Then I'm waiting for the shuttle back to Kendall Sq and there's 3 punkass little kids all smaller than me but as they approach I feel like the 3 together could kick my ass if they wanted to. I'm sitting on the bench and the one says 'can you push over?','can you push over so me and my friends can sit?' so i say 'sure' and then they sit but they're acting like jerks, not to me, just in general, and then they keep getting up and then sitting back down and they keep hailing cabs and asking them stuff just to waste their time and yelling 'the shuttle bus is canceled' like it'll trick us and we'll all start walking back to kendall. then some lady said we could throw them under the shuttle bus. nice.
Had a good buildup to the weekend. Went out every night last week. Nothing too crazy. I think Tuesdays are turning into Jos and Heather at the BHP. This was the first time I was successful getting food delivered. They don't have food there but they say you can order in and they always give you a shitload of menus to choose from and every time I call a place I have no luck. This time though we were able to get some chinese. Not really what I needed but as usual I was starving from not eating all day. Tara and I planned to go out after track on Thurs. but some other CRCers had the same idea so we all ended up at The Asgard watching people play RockBand. We almost formed a band: Peter on drums (he said he used to play in a band way back when), Axel on guitar, me vocals and Johnny on bass I think. It didn't work out though. Maybe next time. We're supposed to do karaoke sometime real soon, like this week.
I was on call all week and on Friday afternoon got a call from Dr. M that there was an animal w/ a PCV of 15% and if had more bleeding over the weekend I would need to do a blood transfusion. This wasn't the news I wanted to get just hours before the weekend started and all the competent people went home for the weekend but luckily nothing happened and I wasn't paged at all.
Friday night went out w/ Tara and Johnny to Ned Devine's. Tara got there before me but since I had no cash she had to meet me at the door to pay my cover. Lucky us though, the bouncer was so into my license he let me in for free and gave Tara back her cover so he could take us in the back and study up my license w/ his magnifying glass. Thanks KS license! The music was fun and I danced all night. Spent most of my time hanging out w/ someone wishing it was someone else. Ended up w/ some late-night McD's and a walk home.
Figured Saturday would be low-key. I had no plans. Watched a bad movie, Perfect Stranger. What else did I do? Must have been something but I can't really remember. Too long ago I guess. Was just going to hang out alone all night doing nothing. Tara was going out w/ Chris and Dirty Boy said he couldn't make it to hang out w/ us. I was supposed to go see the TE sponsored speaker in Cambridge but that was at 6:30 and I wasn't motivated and then Dirty Boy called w/ a change of plans and now was coming to Boston. I didn't feel like doing anything but I wanted to see him so I went running real quick to feel better, it worked really well!! I love running!!!!! We went to the BHP to play basketball. I did okay actually for not playing in years probably. took a break and went back to my place for awhile and then went back to the BHP to meet tara and chris. then we all got to hang out together, yay! after closing hit the pizzetta for late-night pizza but it was real crowded so ordered a pizza and went to my apt. to wait. i was being too loud at my apt. trying to make my dog howl and my roommates got mad and yelled at me. jenn said we're not living together anymore so now i'm apt. hunting. have to check out a place tomorrow morning. not sure how i can pay for double rent for a couple months, maybe my daddy can loan me a couple grand. we saw t/c off and went to my place. i didn't sleep well so felt like shit yesterday.
got some food in the afternoon and then back to the bhp for more basketball. this time i sucked real bad. blah! maybe i'll get in some practice tomorrow since it's my tuesday night bhp night. the rest of sunday was a waste doing nothing, watching tv, should have been catching up on sleep but didn't go to bed until midnight. didn't get in our 11 mile run yesterday so we're doing that today after work. hope it goes well. at least i feel a little better today than yesterday.
Thanks for stopping by!

Really?
Thanks, very nice of you.
First, check my Amazon.com Wish List and there's no need to worry that I already have it or won't use it.
Tip: Check around for better pricing. Amazon's pricing is usually good, but not always the best available.
A quick Froogle search can't hurt.
