Back to work for me!

w/ a new attitude believe it or not. Even if it lasts just one day, it's better than nothing, but I'll try to sustain it. Didn't go to bed last night until 4am, got all blog crazy! Had lots of trouble getting up this morning, finally got up at 9:30 and happy to be in my own place even though it's a horrible mess and take another amazing shower in my amazing shower. I'm thinking of having a par-tay in there sometime soon if you're interested. It'll be lots of fun! Left my apt to see the usual Beacon Hill big shots on the street along w/ a gazillion! tourists on the steps in front of the State House. Got my Diet Coke at the City Convenience right next door, thank G** it was only $1.99 for my 2L unlike the $5 or whatever in Australia. Could you imagine me having to give up Diet Coke if I lived there? I'd go broke :0) Then stopped off at Finagle A Bagel for a 100% whole wheat sesame bagel w/ lite cream cheese and a triple chocolate chip bagel plain. Enough food for the day for under $4. Luckily it had already shaped into a beautiful day at this point, sunny and 'warm' so I wasn't as upset about leaving the amazing Australian weather behind. Thanks Boston for making my first morning back a good one and Thanks to all my friends that made my trip possible. I missed you all and happy that you missed me too it seems. Nice to come back to, especially T screaming into the phone when I called her from the airport last night! I keep telling the same stories over and over as everyone asks about my trip.

Reality check: Just got an email. Need to meet w/ the boss next Thurs for what I'm not sure. I'm already shitting my pants!

Anyway, get Cleo back tonight. Hope all goes okay. Need to start leaving her alone in my apt. Have track tonight and might go but I need to bring her w/.

Two things that I know of that I left behind in Australia: my Timex Ironman watch at the water at Lake Eacham (i think that is the one), that's okay, it was really beat up and falling apart but now I don't have anything to time me while running unless I run w/ iPod, any my favoritest belt I've had since high school, perfectly worn in leather w/ extra holes for skinny days which I left at the Hides Hotel in Cairns (funny to see that video, though I haven't listened to the sound yet, my room wasn't that nice but it was fine and we had to share a bathroom but i never saw anyone the 3 nights we stayed there on our floor or in the bathroom, i really liked it there).

So I'll try to start leaving more detailed posts about my trip soon though I have lots to do otherwise. Unfortunately this never happened w/ my France trip and now it's mostly forgotten. I never even posted all those pics.

I'm home!

Here's some pics for my trip. I know not the best way to do it, especially for the hundreds of others I have but since I have time to spare, it's 1:17am and not like I have to work in the morning, just kidding, I do but I wanted to post some pics.

Me posing w/ the guy playing the didgeridoo in Sydney. I bought the CD too if ya wanna listen.

The hot dog I ate AFTER the cheeseburger. RJ did it too, we were both pigs that day. Biking made me hungry, I think he's always hungry ;0)

au6

Paul, of On The Wallaby, gave me a nice face paintin' w/ some ochre.

au7

RJ spent a lot of time lugging around my luggage. What a nice guy, strong too, haha! I think this was in Brisbane.

au8

The awesome beach in Mooloolaba that I never wanted to leave.

au9

Yay! Me and the kangaroos, just like Dot!

au10

And koalas! Dream come true for a girl like me!!

au11

RJ liked the koalas the best. Touch him!

au12

And why not feed the elephants too.

au13

The Australia Zoo was cool. I love zoos but hate just staring at everything. Let me touch!! The Australia Zoo let me touch lots of animals.

Thanks for stopping by!

Buy Me Stuff

Really?

Thanks, very nice of you.

First, check my Amazon.com Wish List and there's no need to worry that I already have it or won't use it.

Tip: Check around for better pricing. Amazon's pricing is usually good, but not always the best available.

A quick Froogle search can't hurt.
