Today is the first day I left her alone in the new apt. to go to work. I ran her 3 miles before work and gave her what I thought was plenty of drugs. I explained to the concierge that we were new and my dog was scared to be alone in the apt. so here are my numbers for cell and at work to call if there's a complaint. I didn't even get my 2 T stop commute before I had a vm about Cleo's howling. So I crossed the street and went back into the inbound train station to go home. Rose, the concierge said a woman on the 5th floor (I'm on the 6th) thought the dog was hurt because of her howling and Rose went to check on her and thought anytime Cleo heard noise like the elevator she howled. So I went upstairs and didn't hear anything after standing there a bit so left. Ran home (1.65 miles) to check her at 1:30, took her outside and she just wanted to pull me in the direction of our old apt. :0( Brought her inside, hung out a bit and gave her some yummy treats and tried to leave, took the stairs this time but by the time I got to third floor I could hear her howling and it didn't stop when I got to first floor so went back up and hung out more. But I couldn't stay forever so gave more food and left on the elevator. Heard more howling but just ignored it. Haven't gotten a call since. Will try to leave her around 5 and get home to deal w/ her. We'll see how the long weekend goes. I'm on call so I hope I don't get called in and have to leave her too much. I plan to bring her to the trials and the marathon, but I need to do a 20 miler tomorrow so I guess I'll be crazy and run around Boston Common and the Public Garden a million times w/ my cell phone handy to respond to complaints.
Cleo please don't be so crazy scared! You are okay on your own. Trust me!
(and would be unpacking my apt. if I wasn't unpacking from my trip) and realized how much fucking perfume I went through in 2 weeks. I splurged and bought some new at the duty-free, well worth it!, Very Irresistible, could lose the Liv Tyler representation but it has patchouli!, i'm a sucker, and rose for my middle name and Gram, haha! why i fell in love w/ the scent of patchouli i'm not sure, must be all the days of hiding my pot smoking while proclaiming my distaste for it, just kidding, i never did the pot thing, but i really like this perfume and glad i bought it. Got lots of compliments from gay and straight men, and i think even a compliment when i was wearing my Fendi instead and the guy was surprised that I was wearing Fendi, like it was too classic or something.
funny thing happened while db and i were browsing separately in this store. unbeknown to me, db put on some patchouli oil and i had done the same. when we met back up he told me to smell so i did and he said it was patchouli and then i said i put that on too. thought that was dorky funny for some reason. plus when i compared the smells they seemed different. lesson: patchouli on a dirty boy smells different than on a clean girl :0)
Got Cleo back. she's fast asleep right now. i was starving and left her to go downstairs and get some food at Zen. so easy, they have the same address as me just w/ an A added to the number, that's how close they are. Cleo was perfectly quiet while i was gone only because i left her food bag on the floor and when i entered the room she had her head shoved all the way inside stuffing her face. not a true test. so i had to go back downstairs and get some soda and when i returned i heard one howl. hope there wasn't much more than that. tomorrow i must go to work and leave her. think i'll add some xanax to the clomicalm just in case. Cleo you need to relax and get drug-free!
Thanks for stopping by!

Really?
Thanks, very nice of you.
First, check my Amazon.com Wish List and there's no need to worry that I already have it or won't use it.
Tip: Check around for better pricing. Amazon's pricing is usually good, but not always the best available.
A quick Froogle search can't hurt.
