...and a Happy Birthday it was

I think Tara had fun w/ us all for her bday this past Thurs. Got my hair cut and styled like I said I was going to. Bad mistake. Everyone said how awesome it looked which just made me feel bad that ~363 days a year my hair doesn't look awesome. You know me and compliments, don't go well together. Bad karma when the bf picks me up right after getting it done, telling me how awesome it looks, cranky Heather comes right out! Plus I hadn't seen him since Monday morning so I always act weird when I first see him.

The hair

Met everyone at Joshua Tree for drinks and food. Should have had more food, less drinks. Salad just isn't enough to prepare me for a night of drinking w/ these girls. Jake and Jos were there plus some other Tara friends.

Jake made a cookie cake and I put it on Tara's face :0)

After food and drinks at Joshua Tree we went across the street to I think The Burren, is that right? They had live music. Asked the guitarist to do something for Tara, he mentioned her name and maybe played a song for her but she couldn't even hear him when she was at the bar. The song made no sense, Sweet Melissa, but I think someone else had actually requested that.

Was mad at the bf for saying something insensitive at dinner so didn't speak to him all night. Proceeded to get really drunk, talk to other guys (and girls), fall on people, puke in the bathroom, lots of things I don't remember. The bf took me home and I puked all the way on a towel, then puked in my toilet. What a night! Awesome to wake up for work in the morning. Felt like crap all day! Good thing long weekend was coming up and I was going to Vermont.
