So much has happened since Jan 2010 when the Bear and I left Boston for NYC. The short summary, I miss Boston and all my friends but I really like my job. Too bad it's not in Boston! So professional life is fine but personal life sucks. I spend most of my time working and until recently when I wasn't working I was studying. I didn't pass my exam so I'll be studying again very soon but I'll try to manage my life better this time so I don't have to isolate myself from the world. Unfortunately while I was off working, studying, stressing about studying I turned into a big lazy lump of bacon and all I want to do is isolate myself. I can't say I've learned much about my new city since I don't do much here, though I've seen Rock of Ages three times, haha, among some other shows. Broadway is the best! The Bear has plenty of friends here, old and new, so he's adjusted quite well. Beaky is fine. No concierge like in Boston to complain to so Beaky can howl freely. Our neighbor upstairs claims he likes her howling. He's a church singer so I'm sure he'd love to duet with her. I hear him singing when I'm in the bathroom, just a different form of howling. Beaky has a dog walker Andrew who we've never met, though we recorded him one day to see how he did, and of course you all have seen the hilarious notes he leaves us after every walk. I have the day off today because I had to work last weekend. What to do? The Bear is taking a half day and we might go to Coney Island. I got up at 7:30 and now it's almost 10! Ugh, I need to get moving.
