I have so much to change

I haven't been keeping up w/ my sidebars, or posting, or updating it to the fact I'm not a 4th year anymore. I'll have to work on that.

Tonite I went to the Boston Pops rehearsal for tomorrow night. I'd say the best part of it all is my apt. is located downtown now so I don't have to deal w/ the train afterwards and I can just walk home and not have to deal w/ the crowds. Finally they got a worthy musical guest this year, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry. They were great and the crowd was really loving them! You have to tune in tomorrow night for the televised version, assuming you aren't silly enough to go down there, and see them play 'Walk This Way' w/ the Pops. Sounds silly, is silly, but really good! Cleo got to go down there w/ me earlier, I thought it started at 7pm and brought her down but found out it wasn't until 8:30pm so went back home w/ her because I had just run and was still in my sweaty clothes and was starving. She was really good though. There were so many people, she had to walk so slow and real close to me but she didn't howl once, just lots of scared-y Cleo moves.

I'm spending lots of time watching the Tour and no time riding my bike. How will I ever win the damn thing? Who will win? I will do a poll. Someone should buy me this since he's my fav sprinter.

Wow, she's back up!

RobReed bought another new server so my weblog was down again for awhile. Lots of not so interesting news. Right now I'm at my mom's in NY for my graduation party tomorrow. My brother, his wife and my niece are also staying here so that's great because I haven't seen Ella since she was 7 months old, it's been about 8 months. So it's been great to hang out w/ her. She didn't really know who I was at first but now she's totally fine w/ me. She tried to break my laptop but I played some music so she would dance. It distracted her a little.

Other than that I've been chilling in Boston, staying up way too late and then not getting up until really late. Went on a couple random dates, went out w/ my friend when he was here from Germany, visited my vet school classmate Jen in Maine to see her new house and get the rest of my belongings, started learning French online, playing brain games every day that I can (this is the first day that I didn't play because RobReed wouldn't let me bring the NintendoDS with me!). Now my brain is screwed. Bought a new bike that I have yet to ride, not much as far as exercising, been very lazy and not being very health-conscious, got a massage from a boy, heard The Fray and James Blunt for free on a date at the Hatch Shell, blah blah blah. Next I will be going back to Boston to finish tackling the cleanup and unpacking of my room and Rebecca and Dan are coming from Kansas so Becca can job interview in New England and have me show them around Boston for a couple days.

So my first night out in the big city and I don't get home until 3am

I ended up going to the Smiths/Morrissey tribute/Happy Birthday Morrissey show at the Middle East. I went alone as usual and felt a bit awkward but you do what you gotta do to do what you wanna do. The show didn't start until pretty late and I hadn't eaten all day and I was going to eat at the Middle East but they had no open seats at the bar so I ended up eating at Wendy's. I went back to the Middle East and got my ticket and went in before even the first opening act went on. Started drinking Coronas and the rest is history. This guy at the bar, also alone, started talking to me and he was a big Morrissey fan and he was pretty nice and interesting and I was alone and it's better to talk to someone than just stand there so I entertained him. He left me to go stand in front of the first band, Blacklist, they were actually really good but no one was there to appreciate them. The guy, his name is Jimmy, came back to talk to me and we continued to talk through the second band. I guess I was more entertaining this time than the band. He bought me a drink eventually and then the tribute band came on. I followed him out in front of the band, though I learned later that he would have stood closer if it wasn't for me but since he got to be w/ me he didn't mind standing a bit further away. The tribute band, Sweet and Tender Hooligans were great! especially if you're that hard up for Morrissey, people were acting like he was Morrissey, touching him and going onstage and grabbing him and all. And yes he was a HOT Morrissey look-a-like and his name was Jose, I'd do him in a split second if he sang 'Jack the Ripper' to me but anyway at one point I left to pee and told Jimmy to save my spot but when I went back I somehow ended up closer and he didn't see me though I tried to be polite and get his attention to come closer. Anyway towards the end of the night I noticed he was now in front of me and I tapped him on the back and he said he waited for me for 4 songs but thought I ditched him. He ended up going closer and reaching out and touching the fake Morrissey's hand. I have to say it is a bit creepy to be w/ a guy that's more interested in touching a fake Morrissey than you, or so it seemed at the time. After the show we hung out a little more and he bought me a soda. He's very talkative. He said he might go see them tomorrow night in NYC which I thought sounded fun and then he said unless I said I'd rather do something else w/ him like a movie or dinner or something, then he'd rather do that than go to the show. I wasn't going to offer that. I thought he should go to the show. Eventuallly he asked if I'd want to go and I said I would be I wasn't sure if I could go because of my living situation w/ Cleo freaking out and stuff when I left. I said it depended on how she was and what my roommates said. I know it sounds a bit crazy to do w/ someone that you've just met and aren't that crazy about but really I'm so desperate for some fun and I had some tonite and he seems like fun even though I'm kinda just using him for some fun and would rather be boinking the fake Morrissey but what the hell. If I get to NYC I can get Diana to meet us too.

Well really not much going on here

Cleo is still trying to get used to everything so I don't really leave her alone at all so that means I'm inside all day or outside on walks with her. She still isn't used to Emily the cat and howls repeatedly if she sees her so we have to hide Emily and distract Cleo. Also I'm not sure what she'd do if left completely alone besides howl. Yesterday I had to leave her w/ Billy to go to the laundromat because Billy got sick all over a bunch of stuff and I had to wash it. Jenn said that when she got home Cleo was howling so she brought her to the laundromat to see me.

I wanted to leave right now to go to a concert at the Middle East, Sweet and Tender Hooligans, a Smiths/Morrissey tribute band to celebrate Morrissey's birthday but RobReed and Jenn were outside w/ Billy and I didn't want to leave Cleo alone. Now they're back so maybe I can go.

Thanks for stopping by!

Buy Me Stuff

Really?

Thanks, very nice of you.

First, check my Amazon.com Wish List and there's no need to worry that I already have it or won't use it.

Tip: Check around for better pricing. Amazon's pricing is usually good, but not always the best available.

A quick Froogle search can't hurt.
