Hope you had a happy turkey day!

I ran a race in the morning. The Gobble, Gobble, Gobble in Davis Sq. It was very convenient to take the T from Charles/MGH to Davis but that's when the trouble started. I was trying to meet Tara and her sister before the race and we were on the phone when we were trying to coordinate where to meet and my phone went dead. So I stood around trying to spot her but when it was 15 min. to race time I had to go find the bag drop-off to get rid of my stuff. I was going to put it in Tara's car. I wasn't sure where the bag drop-off was so I walked to the Burren thinking maybe it was there and then they told me it was back by the start which is where I just came from. I was kinda annoyed. I walked back to find it and luckily did, it was kinda out of the way and not very noticeable. It was close to race time and they were just starting to close it all up but I made it in time. Went back to the race start and looked more for Tara. I thought I would find her because she's so tall but I didn't and the race started so I just jumped in somewhere and started running. I hadn't been running that long when Tara showed up next to me. Yeah! We finally hooked up and ran together. The first mile was soooo crowded it took us 10 min. That pretty much ruined any chance of a good race time so I just tried not to push it and relax. Tara's been injured lately so she didn't want to push it. We ran a comfortable race and so our time speaks to that, and the crowded first mile. Tara had to take off right after the race to get to Thanksgiving dinner and I didn't want to wait in a long line at the Burren for beer at that point so we left right after. It was kinda neat to get up and race and get home in such a short amount of time.

I was starving the rest of the day trying to save my appetite for turkey because we didn't eat until like 6 or so. I think I ate too fast because I've felt sick ever since.

Buy Me Stuff

Really?

Thanks, very nice of you.

First, check my Amazon.com Wish List and there's no need to worry that I already have it or won't use it.

Tip: Check around for better pricing. Amazon's pricing is usually good, but not always the best available.

A quick Froogle search can't hurt.
