My family was worried I'd never grow hair because I lost what I was born with and didn't grow any more until I was 2. I remember my great-grandmother telling my mom to cut my hair when I was a kid because it was too much for me to deal with.

I have loved scary movies ever since my mom took me to the drive-in to see Baby Alive when I was around 2, though I was deathly afraid of those wicker bassinets after that because the alien baby had one.

I have a younger brother who hates anything scary and when we were little I'd sneak into his room at night and do my best possessed Regan impression from the Exorcist.

My brother also hated amusement park rides and I LOVED them so every family vacation was to an amusement park: Hershey Park, Canada's Wonderland, Wildwood, Disney... Sorry Jer!

I used to babysit these 2 little girls that lived on my street before I went to school in the morning in 7th grade. One day the dad accused me of doing drugs. I was clueless about drugs! Maybe it was because the neighbor across the street would come over to bug me in his Slayer t-shirts with tapes of Slayer music for me to listen. I'm sure he was no good!

I've never broken a bone.

Some of my nicknames over the years: Leech, Droopy, Freckles, Mart Fart, Sweet Cheeks, Martian, Queen of France

I love giving other people nicknames too. A couple classic favs are Tree Frog (Jeff Meyer) and Booger Brains (Charles something).

I live in a tiny one room studio w/ my bf and dog right in Boston next to the State House and we sleep in a twin bed, eat in a twin bed, watch TV in a twin bed...there's no where else to sit.

I randomly met my bf in a club when I went to see Kaskade so our 'first dance' was to Kaskade's remix of Britney's Gimme More.

I have run 6 marathons (Chicago, NYC, Nike Women's in San Fran, Wichita KS, and the Eisenhower in Abilene KS twice) and am training for number 7 now.

I went to vet school at Kansas State in Manhattan, the Little Apple. Running marathons during vet school helped me survive.

I wanted to be a vet since I visited Cornell's Vet School in 3rd grade w/ my girl scout troop. I never thought it'd happen so I gave up on the idea until I met a vet at work one day. Now I'm a vet. It's not as exciting as I imagined but it is my dream job.

I am a huge Syracuse Basketball and New York Yankees fan! My all-time fav SU player is Howard Triche and Mike Pagliarulo from the Yankees.

I'm wicked far in student loan and credit card debt but I love paying my bills, though all of my student loans are deferred right now because I'm in a residency. Can't wait for payday on Saturday so I can pay my bills! Something to look forward to though, paying my student loans eventually, haha.

My dad watched my hound dog Cleo one summer while I did a vet school externship and the cops were called the first day because of her howling.

My dog has had several nicknames over the 6 years I've had her. They are constantly morphing from each other. The most popular is Beaky-Woo but lately I've been calling her Louie.

I have a 13 yo dalmatian I got with my ex robreed and he lives w/ robreed and his gf jenn. I named him Billy after my dad. robreed and jenn refer to me as Original Recipe (Mommy).

I lived w/ robreed and jenn for 2 years after vet school. We call ourselves the bbf (bad boy family). We get along better now that we don't live together. I still go to their place to watch TV and eat dinner and lots of candy.

I have a huge addiction to Diet Coke. Most days 100% of my fluid intake is Diet Coke.

I have had 3 concussions. Two from rugby in college and one from a fender bender. After working up my first concussion they found I had hydrocephalus. It's a very cool, usually congenital, defect that you learn in vet school leads to very deformed and nonfunctional animals. Sounds like me!

I was worried about my bf finding out my age. He's 6 years younger but on our first date he told me he already figured it out because he had googled me, found my blog, and read about how I went to see Guns N Roses in 8th grade and calculated it out. We were both born in October, along w/ most of my bfs. October is awesome!

I love to plan things. I love putting stuff on the calendar months and months in advance. I almost love planning more than doing the stuff. I plan lots of things I never even do like get my dog into the UK w/out quarantine because I could be working there someday, ya never know.

I used to go to the movies a lot. Now I rarely go. I started getting restless leg in the movies long before those RLS commercials ever came out. If a movie is bad my legs get so achy and i can't stop moving them. The only cure is to make myself fall asleep. I've slept through lots of movies since. robreed calls it the jimmy leg.

I'm not good at accessorizing me or my life. I do simple better. Too much work for all that though I wish it wasn't. I don't do much jewelry or complicated outfits, no decorating the apartment, can't keep plants alive. The Bear and Beaky-Woo are enough!
